What is Semaglutide with B6?

Semaglutide with B6 is an injection that mimics a peptide made by the gut when we are full, called GLP-1. One of its effects is that it causes the liver to go into ketosis. You can follow a keto diet with intermittent fasting, cutting out all the carbs, etc. This once-weekly injectable medication propels your body into a much stronger ketosis than it can achieve on diet alone. The added vitamin B6 can significantly reduce the nausea associated with GLP-1 medications.

What happened to the 3 mL vials?

Due to FDA changes, many compounding pharmacies cannot compound Semaglutide or Tirzepatide in the 3 mL formulation. The new formulation Miramont has access to includes Vitamin B6 and GLP-1 medication in a larger 5 mL vial. The medication potency and cost per milliliter are comparable to the prior formulation.

What is Direct Health?

Direct Health is a Direct Primary Care healthcare program from Miramont Wellness Centers. DPC is a national movement to remove the need for costly insurance coverage for access to primary care. DPC allows patients access to primary care, typically for a monthly subscription agreement, without billing claims to insurance companies. This is useful for Semaglutide injections, as not all health insurance will cover it.

What does Direct Health Include?

Doctor Visits, Labs, IV Therapy, Conscious Sedation, X-ray, Mammo, Weight Care, Telehealth (Direct Health App), In-Office Prescription Dispensing, and More!

Is Direct Health insurance?

Direct Health is not insurance, and we will not bill insurance for your visits. Our patients find that our monthly rate plus the $20 day-of-service charge is significantly less than billing and applying visits to their insurance deductibles.
